This wedding had it all, from the beautiful outdoor ceremony setting, to chandeliers at the reception, we were able to create this bride’s “dream wedding”. The venue “Silo Oaks” in Sumterville has a rustic-elegant feel.We were so excited to find out we were to be the first to design for this venue, adding the perfect amount of “BLING”, it was breathtaking.
Our Bride had a big personality causing us to immediately fall in love with her during our first conversation. On her Pinterest board, she had envisioned a blend of an elegant feel, a rustic feel, and a touch of “sparkle” to it all. “If pinterest has it, we can do it better!” is what we told her.
The ceremony site was beautiful on its own, but we added our own special touch, with large clear cylinders decorated with greenery, floating in water, as the aisle markers. Also, we added draping, greenery, and chiffon to the little chapel that the venue provided, softening it up a bit.
Cocktail hour was held in the “Gathering Barn”; here we added large chunky vintage furniture to fill the space. By adding vintage goblets that lined the back of the bar, we were able to add a perfect amount of a color pop. We created a display of beautiful florals to hang from the light fixture, making the room more elegant.
We wanted to do something that was a little outside of the box for reception so we added a wooden pergola over the sweetheart table and draped it with sheers and greenery to soften the look. We used our white sweetheart farm table and our blush twin vintage wingback chairs to incorporate the wedding colors. We added a white spandex chair cover and a rose gold bling chair sash.
We also incorporated three looks for the guest table. Our tall look was simple, yet elegant. It consisted of a copper lantern with a floral ring. Another simple, yet elegant, look was a clear cube which held a floral arrangement. The final look was a little less simple. It had a greenery garland runner with loose stem roses, glass cylinders with water, floating candles, stemmed tea lights and gold votives. The tables all included a rose gold charger, blush plates, mismatched goblets, and a blush napkin we folded into a rose.
Our final touches included custom painted blush pieces for the cake and desserts. We added many little touches that we knew the bride and groom would love. And they did love it! The bride got her “dream” elegant, rustic, sparkly, wedding.
